SMS / Text Messaging Terms

These SMS / Text Messaging Terms apply to text messages sent by Remedy Circuit LLC (“Remedy Circuit”) and to text messages sent through the Remedy Circuit platform by the businesses that use it (“Businesses”). By opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these terms.

1. Types of messages

Depending on what you opted in to, you may receive:

• Appointment reminders and confirmations — booking confirmations, reminders, and reschedule or cancellation notices.
• Customer care — replies to questions you send, follow-ups on inquiries you started, and conversations with a Business’s team or its AI assistant.
• Account notifications — updates about your account, quotes, invoices, or services you requested.
• Marketing messages — offers and promotions, sent only if you have separately given express consent to receive marketing texts.

Some customer care conversations may be answered by an automated AI assistant on the Business’s behalf. Businesses may not present the assistant as a human, and you can ask to speak with a person at any time.

2. How consent is collected

We and the Businesses using Remedy Circuit send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. Consent is collected, for example, when you:

• check an unchecked consent box on a web form that clearly describes the text messages you will receive;
• provide your mobile number when booking an appointment, to receive confirmations and reminders; or
• text a Business’s phone number first, in which case replies relate to your request.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of any purchase. Each Business using Remedy Circuit is responsible for collecting and keeping records of consent from its own contacts.

3. Sample opt-in statement for Businesses

Businesses using Remedy Circuit can place language like the following next to an unchecked checkbox on their forms (replace the bracketed text):

By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from [Business Name] at the number provided, including appointment reminders, customer care, and account notifications. [If applicable: I also agree to receive marketing messages.] Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy [link] and SMS Terms [link].

If a Business sends marketing messages, it should collect a separate consent for marketing rather than bundling it with transactional messages.

4. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies based on your interactions and appointments. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Remedy Circuit does not charge you to receive text messages.

5. How to opt out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to your number from that sender. To opt back in, reply START.

6. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact the Business that messaged you. For questions about messages sent by Remedy Circuit, email founder@remedycircuit.com.

7. Carrier disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
